When Carlos Mendez started Spark Right Electric out of his truck in 2004, he had one rule: treat every home like it belongs to your family. That principle hasn't changed. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a team of 15 licensed electricians serving the entire Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
Carlos spent five years as a journeyman electrician before going out on his own, learning the trade from the ground up on commercial towers and residential rewires across North Texas. That hands-on foundation is baked into everything we do—from the way we train our apprentices to the way we walk a homeowner through their panel before we start any work.
Today, Spark Right Electric is one of the most trusted electrical contractors in DFW, with over 3,200 completed projects and a 4.9-star rating on Google. We're still family-owned, still answering our own phones, and still showing up on time with clean boots and a clear estimate.
